Puccio Law PLLC

Kaitlin Puccio is an attorney and bioethicist, and the Director of the Art and Bioethics Initiative of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights (Rome), where she is also a Research Scholar and collaborator of the Grupo Internacional de Bioestética. Her law practice focuses primarily on two areas that share an ethics nexus: bioethics and policy, and the fashion, sports, and entertainment industries. She is also a commentator and educator, promoting logical reasoning and civil discourse to analyze ethics, business, law, and policy.

A former model and film producer, Kaitlin’s intimate knowledge of standard modeling and entertainment industry practice complements her legal expertise, and she uses her experiences in the fashion industry to help other models navigate their career. She also assists agents, managers, and brands in writing contracts that are not only more ethical, but allow for greater business development. She also considers both the ethical and the practical implications of emerging technologies such as the use of AI in fashion.

Kaitlin is the host of the Insight series on fashion law and business and the Grey Matter series on bioethics, law, and policy. She is the author of the books Insight: The Business, Law, and Ethics of the Fashion and Modeling Industries; Torque, on the language of torture; and Elle on artificial intelligence. She is also a contributor to Psychology Today, a regular speaker at Coco Rocha Model Camp, and was formerly an Institute of International Economic Law Fellow.

Kaitlin teaches bioethics, law, and fashion courses at universities and institutes worldwide. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham Law and a Professor at EIDM Madrid. She speaks French, Italian, and some Spanish.

Testimonials*

“I met [Kaitlin] at Coco Rocha Model Camp… Her segment was so informative that I reached out to her afterward to help me understand my current contract in detail, section by section. Kaitlin walked me through how my current agency [contract] interacts with a new agency contract and how they affect one another… I was so impressed by her expertise and personal focus on me… She is amazing and I would recommend her to any of my model contacts.”
